the context

running communities are some of the most vibrant in any city — and almost none of them are easy to find. they're scattered across instagram accounts, meetup pages, and word-of-mouth. tasuki is an attempt to fix that: one place to find every club, event, race, coach, running store, and specialist, city by city.

the team

tasuki started as a conversation between two friends — a runner who had just relocated and couldn't figure out where everyone was running, and a friend who kept saying someone should just make a map of it all. that conversation became this. it's a side project, completely free, with no ads.

the name

a tasuki (襷) is a cord used in japanese running culture to tie back sleeves — and most famously, the sash passed between runners in an ekiden relay. it's a symbol of connection, handoff, and community. that felt right.

what's here

run clubs across every neighborhood, upcoming group events and race expos, the full local race calendar — road, trail, ultra, and triathlon — and a growing directory of coaches, running stores, and specialists. listings are researched and maintained manually, with help from the community.
