5K1 MileKid's Dash
Family-friendly race weekend at Kit Carson Park in Escondido. The signature 5K is a 3-mile trail loop with 191 ft of rolling elevation. The Donut Mile is a 4-lap eating-challenge race where runners must swallow a glazed donut at the start of each lap (limited to 100 runners, age 13+). Kid's Dash is a 1/4-mile loop for younger runners. All events finish at the Donut Bar festival with free donuts from local SD bakeries.

Kid's Dash (1/4 Mile)
terrain: roadcourse: 1/4-mile loop around the finish line festival area, same course as the Donut Mile. Held before the 5K so parents can watch and still race. Finisher medal included.elevation: +0 ft
